GymJamz, a new website providing music downloads for gymnastics floor routines, have negotiated a deal with British Gymnastics whereby BG members will be given access to all downloads at preferential rates.
The GymJamz has over 1000 pieces of music on the website, presented in 9 categories including classical, salsa, jazz, blues, and world music and can be selected by tempo and length. Each piece contains an edited ‘tone’ at the start, all music is instrumental and concludes with a natural fade or definite finish.
Subscription is just £20 a year for British Gymnastics members. This includes 5 download credits - ready to use when you are! More material can be downloaded by purchasing extra ‘Top-Up’ credits obtained through the site.
Pre-edited music is ready to download at the click of a button, simply:
- Join the site
- Search for the style of music you require
- Listen to the piece and select the duration you require
- Download and burn onto a CD
- Practice and perform
GymJamz plans to add 50 new pre-edited pieces per month to the site and welcomes input from its members to ensure that all musical requirements are satisfied. The site also offer a further 2,500 pieces of well-known unedited music. Upon request, pieces will be edited to the member’s exact specification.
