Hi everyone, I'm new here. I did gymnastics when I was a kid and I worked part-time in a gym's reception area when I was older, but I'm not really connected to the sport now so I'm a bit out of the loop.
I just watched Olga Korbut's routine on bars from 1972 - you can see it here (http://www.olgakorbut.com/video.htm), it's the first video. I noticed that there are a LOT of moves in there that we don't see today! I assume that the Code of Points is very different now, so I am wondering - if somebody did that same routine today, would they not get a very high score?
Has anybody ever duplicated that routine for a show event or some other non-competition location where you don't have to worry about the Code of Points?
