Hey

A question for you girls what exactly is Rythmic Gymnastics anyway?

It's not really gymnastics, Real Gymnastics is Vault, Floor, Beam. High Bar, A-Bars, Uneven Bars, Paralell Bars and Pommel Horse.

All Rythmic Gymnastics is really is Glorified Dance with bits of aparatus.
And another thing why do you girls cover yourselves in a a great lot of make up when doing Rythmic gymnastics, What's that all about?

The Female Artistic Gymnasts put a little lip gloss on and maybe a little bit of mascara and a bit of glitter in their hair not cover their whole faces in make up as if they are going to perform on a theatre stage.

Sorry about the typical male whinging and sounding but I don't see what the point of Rythmic Gymnastics is why can't the just call it competitive dancing instead.

I think rhythmic gymnastics is too "gymnasticy" to be in the same category as dance. Dance also does not utilize things like clubs ropes and hoops, as far as I have seen. I have seen some ribbon though...
I think the makeup adds to the performace aspect of gymnastics.
Gymnastics is the art of performing, and entertianing crowds. So I don't see how rhythmic gymnastics is any less gymnastics then artistic...

I don't know maybe I am just a jealous guy moaning that us guys don't do rythmic gymnastics and you girls do

The european championships start on Friday so I'll watch them and see if I have a change of heart about RSG
